Margaret Read, MA
Margaret Read is a Research Associate at the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity at Yale University. Margaret received her Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science degree from Centenary College of Louisiana and her Masters in Health Psychology from Northern Arizona University. Prior to coming to the Rudd Center, Margaret worked as a Project Coordinator at the University at Buffalo, Division of Behavioral Medicine, where she managed studies examining the social influences of eating and activity. Margaret is interested in childhood obesity prevention and improving school nutrition. At the Rudd Center, her research focuses on the environmental and policy changes to improve nutrition and physical activity in school and childcare settings.
