To find out about legislation pertaining to food policy and obesity filed in your state, do an internet search using your state’s name, followed by the term “legislature.” (E.g., “Connecticut Legislature”) On the state website, search for bills filed in the current session using obesity-related terms. You can also find your State Senator and Representative on these sites.
Local
To find out what is happening in your city, town, or district, visit the website of your local school board, often accessed by links on the main city or town website, or check your local town or city council’s website.
