Obesity Rates Up in 37 States
Despite considerable efforts by public officials and community leaders to improve diet and national health, the obesity epidemic in America has worsened over the past year. An annual report released by the nonprofit groups Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation shows that adult obesity rates have increased in 37 states, and no states have seen decreases in adult obesity rates over the past year.
