Poor Coordination in Childhood Tied to Adult Obesity
A recent study suggests that children who exhibit poor physical coordination may be at greater risk of becoming obese in adulthood. The findings are based on tracking over 11,000 individuals in the ongoing National Child Development Study in Great Britain. Children who showed clumsiness and poor hand control and body coordination at age 7 were more likely to be obese adults.
