Researchers Examine Link between Obesity and Climate Change
In a letter in the medical journal the Lancet, British researchers claim that growing rates of obesity contribute significantly to greater oil consumption, more food production and higher release of greenhouse gases. Many nutrition and obesity experts criticized the Lancet letter for its rationale flaws and expressed the need not to blame obese individuals for environmental decline.
