Obesity Timebomb "Has Gone Off"
More than half the population of Australia is overweight, according to an obesity expert who recently spoke before a federal parliamentary health committee. Health officials point to obesity as the "underlying cause" of many health complaints treated by public hospitals, including heart conditions, diabetes and birth complications.
